Q2 Wi-Fi Radio: The Easiest Way to Listen to Thousands of Stations and Podcasts
Go to www.q2rad.io/download to get the latest set-up application. The web page will automatically detect the correct file for your computer. Download the file by pressing the Download button. Once the download is complete double-click the downloaded file icon and follow the on-screen instructions. Firstly you go to the website named and download a small piece of software this is a link to the application that works on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Mac 10.5/10.6, switch on the radio, connect the supplied mini USB to USB lead. Follow the on screen instructions and drag your routers identity from the list on the left to the area on the right, enter the code for your wireless router, now double click on the list of radio stations from around the world and select the four you want to use by Genre or Country, once you have dragged them to the right side disconnect the lead and start listening.
In order to download the bootstrap setup launcher, I had to register on the Q2 site, which is not something I usually take pleasure in doing but which Armour Home says it needs to keep me informed of future firmware updates. The setup application launched an online installer which downloads the Windows XP/Vista/7 or Mac OS X Q3 Internet Radio program to the computer or laptop. I've been informed that if there is sufficient demand, other operating systems support will be added later.
